    Better than ever In both a blind tasting and a scum test, Matxra+ produced distinctly better results than Maxtra, as far as we’re concerned. Our chalky South Downs water tastes dreadful, unfiltered, and until now has been less than perfect even after filtering, with a slightly musty, brackish taste and still some film on tea.     Good, with a wee BUT… Water stopped flowing through. I emailed them and they repliedI am sorry to hear that the flow rate is really slow to the point of it stopping.The new cartridges have a finer mesh at the bottom (to stop the carbon from coming out) which will mean the flow rate is slower, giving an overall better filtration.It also may be that the cartridge hasn’t been pushed into the funnel fully? – WELL THAT WAS NOT THE CASEHaving said that, I do think the water is…
