    Brita water filter jug. No more limescale. I bought the Brita water filter jug as I was tired of having to suffer limescale in a recently purchased kettle. After only one month the signs of limescale were very evident. So, after discaling the kettle, only filtered water from the jug will be used to fill the kettle. So far, one month further on the kettle is sparkling. Tea and coffee taste better, as does a glass of water straight from the fridge. Installing the new filters is easy.     It’s fine, but nothing spectacular I had a Brita Fjord jug for years, which used Classic cartridges and I thought I’d upgrade and give the Elemaris a go. The jug itself is fine; the filtered volume of water is marginally less than the old Fjord, but no big deal. The jug can be refilled without removing the top, which is a useful addition (there is a flap built into the lid that opens as soon as you put it under the tap, and it’s cleverly constructed so that it closes once the top bit is full).
