    Beware this kettle. Beware Amazon Warehouse Deals! I purchased this kettle via Amazon Warehouse in August 2015. I bought it on the strength of a Which? ‘Best Buy’ recommendation and saved a few pounds by choosing an Amazon Warehouse deal, paying £18.91. The only fault declared and apparent was that the packaging was torn and repaired. All seemed fine until early December when the automatic shut-off mechanism failed.     Very neat jug style kettle which does not drip and boils quickly This is a very neat jug style kettle. It is finished in black plastic with a chrome trim around the base.     Strange smell/taste took a while to go, but I like it now. I bought this as a Which? recommended buy, particularly for the speed of boiling which helps both the environment and the budget. It is neat and compact, though it’s capacity is as great as the much larger kettle it replaced, and it looks smart.
